Gunday is an upcoming Indian action crime thriller film written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film will feature Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles while Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan appear in supporting roles.The film, set in the 1970s, is about Bikram and Bala, who live on the wrong side of the law, becoming gun carriers and coal bandits.The film is set to release on 14 February 2014.The film will also be released in Bengali with a full Bengali soundtrack also composed by Sohail Sen. Though, in some of the Bengali songs, the singers will differ from the original. This will also be the first Indian film to have its trailer premier at the Dubai International Film Festival.

Ramleela which proved golden on box office and garnered him a huge round of applause from the audience, success has generated new parameters for him. This time he is in collaboration with Yash Raj Films yet again to bring you one of the most explosive releases of the year 2014, Gunday. Joining the brigade with him are Arjun Kapoor, Irfan Khan and Priyanka Chopra. The movie is set for its theatrical release on 14th of Feb which is also celebrated as Valentine’s Day. STORY
Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotara) is living a highly reckless and unstable life, unable to discover what he wants to do with himself. The dude meets Meeta ( Parineeti Chopra) – a chance encounter – and sparks fly. But there is no room for love to blossom between these two complete strangers, as they part ways quickly… only to meet after seven years when Nikhil’s fiancé Karishma (Adah Sharma), who is Meeta’s sister, asks him to hide the disgrace of her family. Meeta is reintroduced to Nikhil as a drug addict, a total disgrace to Karishma’s family, a young woman who has been missing for seven long years. Meeta had stolen a huge sum of money from her own house to pursue her dreams and that resulted in her father having a massive heart attack.
A chemical engineer by profession, Meeta is fidgety and idiosyncratic, a girl who quells various sensations and uncontrolled movements in her body by popping anti-depressants. She is a complete misfit in her rich Gujarati family and therefore always on the run. Nikhil must hide Meeta before he marries Karishma.
This unusual situation creates space for Meeta and Nikhil to discover each other and they bond. While Nikhil realises that Meeta is a genius who deals with every challenging situation with practicality and a go-getter approach, Meeta finds out that Nikhil is a sweetheart who loves to help people. The man is confused and is running away from his own dreams. The two try to comfort each other and in their attempts to do so, they fall in love – and that sets this roller coaster ride going, with shaadi, baarat and cuking fraziness thrown in to the big mess!
The filmmaker clearly shows the complexities and trivialities of a coming of age love tale, where uncertainties and frivolities loom large as hurdles in making a relationship work. And yet love finds its way in, blooming between two most unlikely individuals as they discover each other’s deep emotions and insecurities. Mathew shows how love in an urban setting has no threat from outside elements or opposing forces. In fact, how inner turmoil, ambivalence and the need to know one’s own self influences that basic emotion is well portrayed

The story: Adyayan Suman stars as Aditya Singh, a high-powered businessman, living his life nicely when misery strikes. He suddenly becomes an ideal candidate for a risky heart transplant after discovering that he has a weak heart. In spite of his mother Deepti Naval’s protests, he allows his friend Dr. Sameer Saxena (Shekhar Suman) to perform the dangerous operation. Things start going wrong halfway through and Aditya is accidentally awake throughout the rest of the painful procedure. In medical terms, this situation is called ‘anesthesia awareness’ – a patient is not given enough anesthesia before surgery and is fully paralysed, but feels all the pain. This sounds like something different from the likes of Jai Ho and Yaariyan, hai na? But while this makes for a good read, when you see the film you realise that things have gone awfully wrong.
For all those who read the quick review, you will know how pathetic the movie is… in the first half. It was all songs, dance and romance in a film that promises to be a thriller. Adhyayan plays the rich boy better than expected in the first half, but his enthusiasm vanishes in the second half, when the story actually picks up pace. There is a point when Adhyayan’s spirit emerges from his body and roams the halls of the hospital trying to talk to people and make them aware of his situation. But what should have been spooky and touching is just very funny. The twists in the end are good, but once you know what they are, you will think: “All that drama, for just this!”
Shekhar Suman does well as both the doctor and the director of the film. Wish we could say the same about Adhyayan and debutante Ariana Ayam. The songs were not the best as audio tracks, but a few were good in context, with the visuals. Deepti Naval is the best in spite of her minimal screen presence. The twist that she brings in at the end makes you remember the dialogue: “Aakhir maa hi kaam aayi, naa!”
This movie is a good enough medical thriller with some not so good acting by the leads, along with a lot of shortcomings in the script. It is, however, different from the high flying action masala South remakes that Salman Khan specialises in. But the lack of knowledge of medicine and surgery plays spoilsport. Thus Heartless, a nogginful of Novocaine about a botched heart surgery, could give you an urgent need for brain surgery!

Story: Dr. Victor Frankenstein dies frozen to death and the creature buries him at the cemetery of his family. story:
